Victoria Moran began her vegan journey through yoga. Victoria took up yoga, an activity that recommends vegetarianism, at just 17. Despite the changing pace of yoga positions, the internal philosophy always stuck with her and directed her towards an open minded and spiritual take on life. Victoria briefly discusses an eating disorder from her past which ties into her difficulty in transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism. With an abundance of encouragement and support from dear friends, she officially became vegan at the age of 33. Victoria speaks of how her soul led her to become vegan, and in doing so, she stayed close to her higher power. Victoria and her interviewer, Dr. Elisa Haransky Beck, discuss her daily routine, in which is in harmony with nature, and her compassion consortium, a spiritual center and home. Victoria’s pet rescue pigeon, Thunder, also makes a special appearance.
